WRITING SERVICEs from the scribe
The Business Scribe also provides clients with professional writing services built on a three-decade career in print and online journalism, corporate communications and marketing/public relations. This experience ensures key messages hit the mark in well-crafted content.
The Business Scribe was writing and editing pithy and engaging online content long before the Internet was created, yet she’s crafted several book chapters. Whatever content you need, The Business Scribe can provide it.
Marketing materials. Reports with intense outlining. Award entries. Plans and proposals. Presentations. These are among the many writing and editing assignments The Business Scribe can take on.
Let The Business Scribe carry the load of that speech, trade magazine article, presentation or book chapter for you. We’ll start with a recorded interview and move things forward quickly and accurately.
For writing, the right experience matters
Let me show you the value of a freelance writer with a background in journalism, corporate communications, and PR and marketing. Whether you need a white paper or speech, or simply some teasers for online ads, I’ll deliver clean content that clearly explains complex topics or that pumps marketing messages with fresh air.
My interest in writing started at a young age and before I graduated from high school, I was working at my city’s local weekly newspaper, writing and editing news and feature articles as well as advertising copy. I moved from that small weekly to the city’s daily newspaper, and then, after graduating from college with a journalism degree, on to USA TODAY, where I became one of The Nation’s Newspaper’s youngest full-time editors at age 23. I was editor of the pre-Internet (imagine that!) online issue called USA TODAY Update. I later wrote for Gannett’s internal magazine and edited for The Cincinnati Enquirer before launching a career in marketing, public relations and corporate communications.

“As Molly and I worked through the first client, I began to see how she could assist with a high-profile client of mine. She only had to sit with this client once to get the ‘feel’ of the personality of the client. Now she and I are able to discuss topics and facts via email and phone and provide the client with material considerably beyond what had ever been provided.”
— Mary Lou Stephens, sr. administrator
(Tim) Lee for Cobb
